About Us

Welcome to the Calgary Sikhs website. Here you may find information about all of the local Gurdwara Sahibs, youth and kids programs, organizations, and other resources about the Sikh community of Calgary.

Our aim is to connect everyone to what they are looking for all in one website, while highlighting important and inspiring information for everyone to easily access.

The main Gurdwara Sahibs in Calgary are Dashmesh Culture Centre, Guru Ram Das Darbar, Sikh Society, Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Balandpuri), Brahm Bunga Spiritual Fellowship on 17th Ave SE, and Brahm Bunga Dodra on Township Rd.

Calgary has two Gurmat schools Khalsa School Calgary and Gobind Sarvar School and has Sikh Student Associations at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and Bow Valley College. The Faith and Spirituality Centre at the U of C also has a Sikh representative to support students on campus learn more about Sikhi.

Calgary is also a supporter of the World Sikh Organization (WSO) which promotes and protects the interests of Sikhs in Canada and around the world and advocates for the protection of human rights for all.
